can anyone help me enable PM?

Maggie, I'm not 100% sure but I think it magically switches on after you've done 20 posts

You can also ask a moderator for access to the closed forums after 20 posts too - Personal Journals, SH, Sin Bin etc

Disable PM - Yes or No

TRT is right.

20 posts is the newbie limit for PMs. After that you should be able to use the PM system fine.
